STATEMENT OF WORK

Paint Building Interior, Multiple Facilities

2 May 2017

Project: QYZH 14-0001

Facilities: 200, 2201, 2316, 2371, Dormitories (2312, 2314, 2412, 2416, 2422), 3600

Project Manager: Mr. Steve Gibbs

Construction Inspector: Mr. Chuck Kalina

Period of Performance: 240 Days

Government Furnished Material/Equipment: None

General

1. Overview

The project involves painting interior walls in Facilities 2316 (Dining Facility), 2371 (Fitness Center), 3600 (Control Tower), 2201 (Military Working Dog Kennels), 200 (Aircraft Hangar) and

2312/2314/2412/2416/2422 (Dormitories). Total area of walls is approximately 143,000 square feet.

2. Requirements

a. The Contractor is required to adhere to all standards and specifications listed in the contract documents.

b. Coordinate all work in advance with the construction inspector, project manager, and

Contracting Officer.

Project Scope

Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, transportation, equipment, supervision and personnel to perform and complete the prepping, prime and painting of identified walls, trim, doors, ceilings and stairwell floors and railings. Facilities (see drawings for identified areas and estimated quantities, to be validated by contractors during site visits and bidding process):

1. 2316 (Dining Facility): Blacked out areas on drawing (“MHAFB_2316_wall-area”) are not included in contract. Work shall be phased in coordination with user so dining operation can remain functioning during contract execution. User will move equipment/shelves/stoves etc.

2. 2371 (Fitness Center): Blacked out areas on drawing (“MHAFB_2371_wall-area”) are not included in contract. Work shall be phased in coordination with user so facility use will have minimum disruption during contract execution. User will move weight/exercise equipment etc.

3. 3600 (Control Tower): Drawings (“MHAFB_BLDG 3600_26 7THFLOOR”) show areas included in contract with identified quantities on 2nd, 3rd, and 7th floor. Access to this facility is more restrictive (and will require user escorts) than other facilities due to the flying operations function.

4. 2201 (Military Working Dog Kennels): Drawing (“MHAFB_2201_Model (1)”) shows area included in contract with identified quantities in kennel area. Work shall be coordinated with user so dogs can be relocated during contract execution.

5. 200 (Aircraft Hangar): Drawings (“MHAFB_200_Stairway_wall-areas”) show areas included in contract with identified quantities in stairway areas. Stair well floor shall be anti-skid/slip paint. Work includes floors, walls, ceilings and stair railings.

6. 2312/2314/2412/2416/2422 (Dormitories): Drawings (“MHAFB_2312_1-2-3Floors”, “MHAFB_2314_1-2-3Floors”, “MHAFB_2412_1-2-3Floors”, “MHAFB_2416_1-2-3Floors”, and

“MHAFB_2422_1-2-3Floors”) show common areas included in contract with identified quantities

(dormitory rooms are not included). Stair well floors shall be anti-skid/slip paint (stair wells in Dorm

2422 are not in this contract). Work includes floors, walls, and stair railings.

Miscellaneous Requirements

1. Provide product submittals as applicable for review by the Contracting Officer Representative.

Paint colors to be coordinated with users and base architect.

2. The Contracting Officer will schedule a pre-construction meeting with the appropriate personnel before issuance of the notice to proceed (NTP).
