Q1: Can you please provide the actual spec sheets for the line items on the "COCESS FIXED PRICES" excel worksheet that are listed below?
AC462E Tank Fuel Sub-Based 110 Gal, IBI 2424 CGK, UNKNOWN, EA: 2
AC531J Tank Fuel Sub-Based 500 Gal, 5075-GCK, Cummins, EA: 1
A1: The specs are attached to this document.
Q2: How many employees work for the current contractor?
A2: There are currently three employees.
Q3: Why is there not an EPA option in the contract?
A3: The items on our fixed priced list contain very few items that contain metals that would need to be adjusted for economic purposes.
Q4: Would you please clarify what the purpose intended for the website’s “ability to attach notes to the purchase order (for internal use only, not transmitted with the purchase order)” is?
(reference: Solicitation FA4897-11-R-0001, 52.212-2, 3., 4th bullet – pg.34) In other words, what is that particular function intended to do?
A4: The intent of paragraph 1.5.2.15 of the Statement of Work (4th bullet on page 34 of the solicitation) is for the shop to have the ability to pass additional information about the material being ordered for a specific work order and/or approval to purchase by shop leads.
Q5: What is the estimated date for housing privatization?
A5: The estimated date is between January of 2012 and the end of March 2012
Q6: How many houses are on Mountain Home AFB?
A6: There are currently 1,155 standing houses.
Q7: Paragraph 1.4.2 of the SOW states that the government reserves the right to cancel orders for items at not cost to the government and purchase items from other sources if the contractor can not meet the government's price and delivery expectations. Paragraph 1.4.3 contradicts this section by stating that the government reserves the right to purchase supplies from other sources. We request that the first paragraph of 1.4.3 be deleted to clarify.
A7: We do not intend to remove this sentence. The government may order from another source if the price/delivery terms are more competitive than through the COCESS contract.
Q8: Paragraph 1.6.7 alerts the contractor that the Military Family Housing contract will be privatized during the term of the COCESS contract. The obligation to staff and stock the MFH store and issue/sell Military Family Housing items is not spelled out elsewhere in the solicitation. Please provide a list of items and quantities that the COCESS contractor is required to stock in order to support the MFH operation.
A8: Once Military Family Housing privatizes (estimated to happen in Jan/Feb of 2012) there will be zero items needed at the self help store.
