1. Its states 8.5 height (standard containers) or 9.5 height (high cube containers) are allowed.

Is there a certain number of each? Or can they be any mixture of high cube and regular?

Yes, any mixture containers meeting the required measurement in the contract (high cube and regular)

2. You ask for a detailed drawing of where the containers are going to be placed. Can you please clarify this? Will a spreadsheet with the containers sorted by number delivered to each location work?

Yes, a spreadsheet providing a detailed list of container serial numbers and locations for accurate validation after all have been delivered (or request for partial payment).

3. Can we provide GPS coordinates of where the containers are delivered on a spreadsheet to satisfy the location requirement?

Yes. In addition to the requested information in the answer to question number 2

4. While working out in the fields. We use a program that takes pictures as well as the time of day and date and also provides GPS coordinates. Would this be sufficient instead of drawing a map.

5. You ask for an individual on site. If our driver documents this information, is hat sufficient?

Can we send a person out once a week to draw a map if needed?

Contractor shall have an individual on site that is responsible for the delivery of containers to correct location. The government will not provide any personnel or equipment for offloading of containers, escort on or off a bombing range or any other type of support

6. Everyone has a different description of what is rated A or B. Can you elaborate? Or specify where exactly to find the reference you used for the posting.

All containers must be lead free, asbestos free and be rated A or B (level of contamination) for hazardous material

7. Do floors need to be in good condition? If the floor is delaminated does it need to be replaced?

Wood floors are acceptable, the container must constructed of steel (no aluminum or plastics).

Containers must not be painted with lead-based paint or be lined with insulation or asbestos. Containers shall have no shelves, dividers or roofing materials.

8. Can you please explain, “yes a little bit” will be highly scrutinized” as to the rust, which was posted in DOC FAQ – Gila Bend AA Shipping Containers? All containers have some sort, whether minimal, minor or major

Any rust that affects the stability of the container will not be accepted. Containers must be structurally sound, however, they may have 4 inch diameter holes with no more than 3 per container.

9. Containers typically come from overseas with freight which is unloaded upon arrival in the

U.S. Our question is will you all accept the containers being transferred to the state from a foreign company? All companies are required to follow the maritime laws.

We will accept legal containers meeting the requirements of the contract.

10. Which gate would you enter to get to the water well? Which Gate would you enter to get to

ETAC Con Point?

You will need to enter the Range 1 gate to get to the water well and Range 3 gate to get to ETAC Con Point?

11. Do you want the cargo doors facing the CAB or REAR?

We prefer the cargo doors facing the cab, but will be accepted stored either way.
