Well Repairs 2, 3, and 5
FA4855-18-R-0042
QUESTION 1: What is the level of water in Well 5?
Government Response: The static water level was indicated at 331.5 feet.
QUESTION 2: Is the motor/pump bad in Well 5?
Government Response: In accordance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) paragraph
1.1.3, Well 5 has the pump, power cable, and piping pulled out. The well pump and motor was determined by the Government to be bad and is no longer on site.
QUESTION 3: When was the last time that the wells were pulled?
Government Response: Well 2 was worked on previously in 2006 or 2007. Well 3 was worked on previously in 2003.
QUESTION 4: Are any of the wells operational?
Government Response: At this time, all three wells are currently not being used. In accordance with PWS paragraphs 1.1.1, 1.1.2, and 1.1.3 Well 2 and 5 are inoperable and are to have new pumps installed and shall be priced accordingly in the Request for Quote (RFQ) on CLINS 0002 and 0003. Furthermore, all three pumps are to be inspected and tested in accordance with the
PWS and priced in the RFQ on CLIN 0001.
