Questions and Answers

Q1. Is there an incumbent Registered Nurse Healthcare Integrator currently working in this position?

A1. Yes, there is an incumbent for this position. Name of the employee will be provided to the awardee.

Current contractor: Abacus Solutions Group, LLC. Contract number GS35F0250X/FA481417FAD14, effective date 30 Sep 2017

Q2. How long is the contract transition period?

A2. There will be no transition period. The period of performance is 1 Jul 2019 – 30 Jun 2020 with one option year.

Q3. Since this is an SCA contract, would the appropriate Occupation Code – Title be 12311 – Registered Nurse I through 12316 – Registered Nurse IV?

A3. The customer has indicated labor category 12316 – Registered Nurse IV is applicable for the RN- Healthcare Integrator position.

Q4. What are the duty hours and location for this position? Is this a 40 hour work week Monday through Friday 52 weeks a year for a total of 2040 billable hours?

A4. Duty schedule is Mon – Fri. Duty hours are 7:00 am-4:00 pm or 7:30 am-4:30 pm (supervisor’s discretion). Duty location is MacDill AFB Clinic, 3250 Zemke Ave Bldg 1078, MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL 33621 or Sabal Park Clinic, 9208 King Palm Dr, Tampa FL 33619. Equivalent hours would be 1 FTE or 1920 hours however pricing should be submitted as a monthly cost.

Q5. Can the government tell us how long and how much does it cost to attend the Air Force Medical Service Health Care Integration Course and Access Improvement Seminar? Will the travel be reimbursed?

A5. Air Force Medical Service Health Care Integration Course is 10-days long, estimated cost is $2,100 (to include lodging, airline, tickets and meals). The PWS has been amended to remove the Access Improvement Seminar and add Air Force Medical Home Operations (AFMHO) Course. This course is 4-days long, estimated cost is $1,060 (to include lodging, airline and meals). Travel is required at the contractor’s expense.

Q6. Is Attachment I to be utilized for Section I and Section II submissions? Can Sections I, II and III of the proposal response all be contained in the same binder?

A6. Attachment 1 is not required as long as the contractor provides an Administrative cover page with information requested in Attachment 2, Instructions and Evaluation Criteria, Section I. Sections I, II, and III can be combined into one PDF binder and emailed to amy.soeder@us.af.mil. Project Summary Sheets count as the Past Performance 6-page limit. It is recommended that emailed packages are converted to PDF to ensure delivery. The contract specialist will verify attached documents are legible and will acknowledge your email submission.
