MEMORANDUM FOR ALL OFFERORS

SUBJECT: FA4800-15-R-0009, Test Administration and Computer Support Services Solicitation Request for Information
The questions below have been received in response to the subject solicitation:
1. PWS Paragraph 1.2.6.2.1 Required Skills. Certifications are not addressed. Are there any specific certifications required for this function?
Answer: No certifications required for the Test Administrator.
2. PWS Paragraph 1.2.16 Contractor Furnished Items & Services. There is no mention of government furnished equipment (GFE). Is contractor required to furnish PCs, furniture?
Answer: All equipment for use under this contract is government equipment. Contractors will not take possession of any equipment.
3. PWS Paragraph 1.2.1.1 Session Schedule. 0730 - 1130 does this conflict with QASP Item 0002 indicating "NTE 2 sessions/day"?
Answer: 0730-1130 is the normal work schedule for the IT Support requirement. A second session may be needed occasionally based on unforeseen circumstances. PWS paragraph
1.2.1.1 will be updated for clarity.
4. Is the hardware and software required already provided or will it need to be added to the proposal?
Answer: The government provides all necessary hardware and software under this requirement.
The contractor will not be responsible for any additional components.
5. How many workstations, servers, routers, printers, etc. are in the current location as available support, or must these be provided by the contractor?
Answer: Sixty-Five PCs, four networked printers, three servers, one firewall, and one router in place. Additional equipment needed to support Base Training and Education Center programs will be government provided.
6. What operating systems and software (vendor, title and version) are required on the various systems?
Answer: PCs – Windows Professional 7, Servers – Windows Server 2003.
7. Are there any compliance or security policies or guidelines that must be adhered to?
Answer: Need more specificity – Installation access, network access, etc.?
8. Is the connection to the internet already secured or will hardware need to be provided for management of the firewall/security devices?
Answer: The government maintains the agreement for internet services and all hardware/software are provided by the government.
9. Whether we can submit the solicitation only for Computer Support Services.
ANSWER: No, this requirement is for both the Test Administration and Computer Support Services. Individual contracts will not be awarded.
10. How many of the system administrator support technicians do you need daily or four hour basis.
ANSWER: This is a performance based requirement in which the government does not identify the number of personnel required. Each offeror shall review the Performance Work Statement to determine how best to meet the government’s needs.
