SCOPE OF WORK
Project: KABA Locks Date: 17 July 2018
The proposed Scope of Work (SOW) is for removing the current KABA Locks (version Solitaire 710-II/SMART) from the doors, then purchasing and installing KABA Locks (version Ilco 790).
The KABA Locks span approximately 624 doors in 7 different buildings as outlined below:
Building 24110 125 rooms with external doors 5 external common area doors
Building 24114 125 rooms with external doors 5 external common area doors
Building 24109 24 external doors 96 internal doors 2 external common area doors
Building 2401 123 internal doors Building 25307 54 external doors Building 25309 60 external doors Building 25308 2 external common area doors
1. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, and equipment to accomplish per lock:
A.) The removal of 624 Solitaire 710-II SMART KABA Locks B.) The installation of 624 Ilco 790 KABA Locks
2. Contractor shall provide specific submittals for this work to include: product data for the Ilco 790 KABA Locks.
3. Contractor will be provided a dumpster for the disposal of cardboard, and will not be responsible for the disposal of the removed Solitaire 710-II SMART KABA Locks.
4. Desired performance period to be negotiated.
5. All contractor vehicles must enter the base via Wheatland Gate and shall be subject to inspection. All contractor personnel must obtain base passes or be listed on the Entry Access List (EAL) throughout duration of work performance.
6. Applicable standards: The contractor shall comply with all applicable Federal, State and local construction standards (OSHA). Current Air Force Occupational Safety and Health (AFOSH) standards also apply. All waste materials will be disposed of and removed off base by Contractor. Contractor will practice good housekeeping during project.
7. Design shall be in accordance with contract and manufacturer recommendations.
