MEMORANDUM FOR ALL ATTENDEES

FROM: 7 CONS/LGCB

SUBJECT: FA4661-16-Q-0042, Sunshades

l. The subject solicitation (supply four (4) sunshades) pre-bid site visit was convened at l000 hrs on 18 May 2016 at the 436th Training Squadron located on Avenue D on the south side of building 8202.

2 . The contractor was given a chance to view the area where the sun shades would be installed.

The following are the questions and answers brought up before and during the visit:

Q 1: Will the placement of the sunshades be flexible?

A 1: Yes, the contractor who receives the award will meet with the customer and Contracting in order to develop a plan.

Q2: Are there areas to avoid?

A2: Yes, there are driving lanes that must be preserved on the work area. The lanes were phographed at the site and will be posted with this document.

Q3: Does the sun shade have to be 15 feet high?

A3: The sun shade needs to be 15 feet high or as close as possible due to the height of the equipment that must be stored underneath.

Q4: Is the canti-lever method the most preferred for the beams to the sun shade?

A4: Yes, this will allow the most flexibility when placing vehicles underneath the sunshades.
