HEADQUARTERS 341ST MISSILE WING (AFGSC)

MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

FROM: 341 CES/CEIHD

SUBJECT: Exterior Security Camera Purchase and Installation

1. Malmstrom Air Force Base, Great Falls, MT requires the purchase of exterior security cameras with installation and maintenance. We have 11 dormitories, each with one centralized camera management area that includes two Veilux DVRs already. The number of cameras required will be determined by the hardware's ability to provide video coverage to the entire dorm complex based on the attached map. Required coverage areas are outlined in RED.

2. Consolidated Dormitory Management Office (CDMO) will conduct a site visit on Monday 10 Aug 2015 at 9:30 am (MST). The address for the site visit is 30 76th Street N, Rm. 1, Malmstrom AFB, MT 59402. To gain access to base, request must be sent to Lt Teresa Doskey at teresa.doskey.2@us.af.mil NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM (MST) ON 5 AUGUST 2015.

3. Contractor must be certified to work on security camera systems and must provide all supplies and equipment to complete the job. Work must be accomplished between the hours of 0900-1600, Monday through Friday.

4. Cameras must have the following functions but are not limited to:

4.1 True day and night mode with enhanced night viewing
4.2 Clear imaging
4.3 No privacy masking authorized
4.4 Video and motion detection for sensitivity detection
4.5 High resolution
4.6 Durable for inclement weather against all elements
4.7 Lens coverage: Standard, wide and long range options
4.8 Monitor and control panel area set up in all 11 dorms for viewing playback videos
4.9 Recording features mandatory along with easy to use controls

5. After coordinating with MAFB contracting office to obtain base access pass, contractor will make quarterly visits to the base to complete the following maintenance.

5.1 Perform DVR playback functions on all systems

5.2 Clean inside of DVRs of any dust to prevent system failure

5.3 Perform system upgrades necessary to maintain optimal performance

5.4 Ensure cameras are facing the correct direction with lenses in focus and correct any that are not.

5.5 Make necessary repairs to ensure all systems are running at optimal performance. CDMO will purchase replacement parts, etc. Contractor will make repairs.

5.5 Replacement parts are not covered under this contract.

5.6 Provide all recordings removed from the hard drive onto a labeled and compatible DVD disk

5.7 Ensure all systems are actively working before completion of maintenance
