VENDOR QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

1. Are the 20 workstations cubicles? If so, who is the maker?

a. Yes, they are cubicles, the maker is Knoll.

2. What is the size of the cubicles and what is included in the cubicle like overhead, drawer, small shelving etc.?

a. No overheads come with the cubicles; the drawers are not attached and have rollers. The cubicles are approximately 4.5-5ft wide each.

3. As I understood from the PWS all workstation are going to be individual room or individual set up and they are currently individual set up correct?

a. The workstations are built by Knoll. The cubicles are all connected into a large piece. Therefore, when they are taken apart there will be several panels that need to be kept together for reassembly.

4. Will there be any packing or packing material needed for files or office accessories.

a. All files and office accessories will be moved by the Government prior to the

Furniture move.

5. Can you send us a picture of the large cubical work areas and revolving 4 door records cabinet room, so that we can determine a time factor.

a. Yes, please see attachment labeled Bldg 2032 Pictures.

6. Please let us know a little more about the revolving 4 door records cabinet room. Are we to disassemble the cabinet or do we pack and move the files from this room?

a. Yes, the revolving records door will need to be disassembled and moved. No files will need to be moved by the vendor. All files will be moved by the Government prior to the Furniture move.

7. Need a picture of medical records cabinet.

a. Please see attachment labeled Bldg 2032 Pictures.

8. Will we be given access to lock out one elevator for our use?

a. Yes, one elevator will be set-up for use in Bldg 2032. The walls will need to be protected by the vendor moving the furniture.

9. Is there a preferred date that you would like all services to start and completed by other than stated in PWS?

a. The Government would like to have this done as soon as possible. Ideally, it would be completed by the end of the week of Nov 9th. However, as long as it is completed no later than 8 Dec 2015 it will meet the requirements.

10. Location of the Elevators and are they freight or passenger?

a. Bldg 2032 is equipped with a large (larger than typical passenger elevator) elevator and elevated dock; the vendor will be able to move the furniture from the dock directly to their truck. Bldg 705 is NOT equipped with a dock or an elevator; contractor will have use of the stairwells.

11. Are floorplans or drawings available?

a. Yes, please see attachment labeled Bldg 705 Floorplan and Bldg 2032 Pictures.
