Answers from technical representative:

Q1: We are an Idaho Licensed contractor, do we have to get Washington HVAC permit and license or will Idaho Licensing suffice?

A1: Since Fairchild AFB is a federal installation, WA specific permit/license is not required.

Q2: Are we required to have a porta potty on site during construction?

A2: No, contractors will have access to bathroom facilities.

Q3: Do we have to provide a generator or some sort of temp power?

A3: No temp power required

Q4: Do we have to provide temp cooling? If so how much cooling is required? Tonnage?

A4: None, a fan should suffice if necessary.

Q5: Can you send us additional pictures of equipment to be demoed and installed?

A5: See attached photos.

Q6: Can you please provide additional electrical scope of work for electrician?

A6: Should be 240 volt. Has a shut off mounted to the side of each ECU via uni-strut and a 2” pipe fed from above. Power will need to be disconnected, and pulled back on the ECU closest to the door. That will make it easier to remove the units from the room. The second unit will be easier, and may not require as much electrical work.

Q7: Is there DDC controls involved or with these units operate under a thermostat?

A7: Each unit is connected to a thermostat within the box the ECU’s service.
