SECTION SF 30 BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

The following have been added by full text:

VENDOR QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Q1: There are services that were previously performed by Motorola from 8/8/13 - 8/7/14, that aren't requested on this solicitation (i.e. Security Monitoring, subscriber maintenance, and Onsite response within 2 hours for Tier 1) as well as new services being requested that weren't provided previously (i.e. quarterly IA scans w/reports, training), and wanted to make sure these were intentional?

A1: Yes the removal and addition of services within this PWS were intentional, as the requirements have changed since the last warranty service dates.

Q2: Section 2.1.3.2 requires that an Excel/Word report be emailed within 2 days of each trouble ticket being closed.

If the COR is emailed a notification when a trouble ticket is opened and closed, as well as provided access to our Motorola Online database that shows all status updates and resolutions of a trouble ticket, will that suffice in lieu of the requested excel/word report upon closure of a trouble ticket?

A2: Yes, notification via email, combined with access to the online database, will suffice.

Q3: Section 6.1.1 requires that new/additional personnel be trained everyth 12 months after the initial/base year. Can we assume for the other two sections 6.1.2 and 6.1.3 that the option year training every 12 months will be for returning/repeat students only requiring a refresher course (versus the in depth details of the base/initial year)? Or should all 6.1.1, 6.1.2, 6.1.3 option years have in depth training for new/additional students that hadn't taken the base year training?

A3: The in-depth training will need to be performed during the initial/base year. In addition, the in-depth training will also need to be available at the beginning of each of the option years for any newly assigned personnel to the 92 CS. If, in any given year, there were no new individuals who required training, the government would not exercise that CLIN on the option.

Q4: Sections 6.1.1/6.1.2 require that consoles be available for hands-on training. Will at least two console positions be available for the applicable training courses?

A4: If two consoles are required for this training, this would require prior notification and authorization from the 92 Maintenance Operation Center. FAFB will make every effort to ensure two consoles are available, but cannot guarantee availability, based on mission requirements.

Q5: Section 6 Training - Would (the government) allow an additional response (onsite technical assistant) as an alternative?

A5: Adding an onsite technician is not an option at this time based on manpower constraints.
