Will Gov provide all access to building 4200 rooftop as well as cable raceways?

Gov will provide access with escorts.

Please provide specifications for the "Control Station Combiner" i.e., number of ports, frequency band, power handling, specific frequencies if this is more than a "short haul combiner".

Short-Haul, 100-1000MHz, 4 Channel, 29.5 dB typical TX or RX Insertion Loss, 10 Watts @ 100% duty on all ports, 10 Watts @ 100% duty on all ports

Will all work be allowed during normal working hours, 0700 - 1800? Or will some work be required to be done after these hours?

Work will need to be done between 0700-1600 excluding weekends and phoenix Fridays (2 Fridays a month) and National Level Operations.

Once award is made, vendor will be required to make contact with POC to set-up schedule.

Does the designated radio room currently have available power circuits and adequate grounding for all radio equipment?

153 CACS has available power circuits. There is building lightning dispersal system that is tested and functioning. There is a grounding rod installed outside the radio room (CSC) for this project specifically. There is a possible issue with the antennae grounding in CSC as it is not properly installed and is a vehicle mounted magnetic radio on the girders. This project was to fix exactly that and clean up the cabling and grounding.

Is it required that antenna cables need to go in conduit on the roof and/or inside the building?

Conduit is not required.

Who is responsible for the remediation of mold, lead paint and asbestos encountered during installation phase?

Government

Are the current antenna masts and mounts to be re-used or shall new masts and non-pen mounts be included?

Requirement is for new masts and new mounts.

5a What type and quantity of radios are to be connected to these antennas?

APEX 7500, Qty 2, (2 UHF and 2 VHF)
