STATEMENT OF WORK
For Removal, Installation, Set-up and Training of Paint Booth and associated equipment in ASM Building 6826.
Paint Booth Equipment Description:
The Paint Booth shall be pre-engineered, delivered and installed in an existing building in Bossier City, LA The Paint Booth shall be self-supporting = free standing. The Paint Booth shall include the enclosure, structural support, personnel and small product doors, exhaust system, air replacement system, energy recovery, electrical, lighting, and controls. Performance, simplicity, durability, and functionality shall be the basis of the booth design. High quality, energy efficient equipment shall be selected with low operating and maintenance costs. Control systems shall be designed to maximize energy conservation. The Paint Booth will work with a full time 80% recirculation air flow with 20% being made up of fresh incoming/exhaust air. Advanced Safety Systems will accompany the booth to guarantee occupant safety inside the workspace. Equipment location and arrangement shall ensure accessibility for maintenance. Pauli Systems shall provide information required to obtain all applicable Environmental Operating Permits (Federal, State and Local, as applicable). Local codes may require more stringent requirements. Final design will use ASHRAE for determining design conditions that will accommodate customer’s requirements.
Discharge air conditions:
Summer Temperature: 75-85° F ± 5° F Winter Temperature: 75° - 85 F ± 5° F Working Dimensions: 11’-6” Wide x 12’-0” High x 18’-0” Deep Approx. Overall Dimensions: 12’-0” Wide x 12’-4” High x 23’-0” Deep Construction: 20 gauge insulated pre-coated vertical wall panels white Inside/Blue Outside. Panels have an internal steel frame to provide support for the overhead unit. Factory applied coating is vinyl to help protect against scratching and to increase resistance to water and chemical exposure. Panels are bolt together design to eliminate gaps and facilitate easy assembly. Ceiling System is bolt together with a white powder coat finish and flanged for bolt together assembly.

· 1 lot of rectangular exhaust duct to include duct sections for a 25’-0” duct stack, cleanout door, vertical throw exhaust, and guy wire support kit if needed.
· LEL and CO monitors will be included in the recirculation duct and interconnected to the booth control panel to ensure that unsafe conditions are not permitted while the operator is working.
Booth Intake System
· 1 ea. Electric make-up air unit with DX Cooling Coils and Natural Gas Fired Burner. Air Make Up unit to be mounted above the booth and vented to the roof and intake plenum via square ductwork. Intake unit will produce approximately 3,000cfm of conditioned air to the system. The intake motor will use a VFD for start/stop and speed control.
· 1 lot Intake ductwork from the intake section of the make-up air unit. The ductwork will include rectangular duct sections for a 25’ duct run, goose neck intake hood with bird screen, and clean out door.
· 1 lot Discharge duct from the AMU discharge into the intake columns of the paint booth.
· 1 ea. roof mounted intake plenum located above the columns at the front of the booth to allow fresh airflow into the booth.
· 1 set high efficiency intake filters with internal bent wire frames mounted in the columns.

· 1 ea. Auto-Balance System - Designed to automatically keep the paint booth balanced when in operation. It is recommended by on all pressurized booths. This system consists of a differential pressure gauge and sensing probes and a variable frequency drive (VFD) that controls the speed of the exhaust fan motor. The system monitors the interior booth pressure and will adjust the exhaust fan speed so that the air volume is balanced with the supply air volume. The result is a booth that is balanced automatically and will stay in balance as the filters load up. This system will increase useful filter life, provide a constant airflow through the booth and has the ability to control the booth pressure Booth Accessories:
· 12 ea. Fluorescent light fixtures, inside access 48" 4-tube, 265 mA, 32-watt T8 ballast, 277v with 85% color corrected tubes included. Lights are Class I, Division 2 rated. Lights are ETL & ETL-C listed and are also listed for locations having deposits of readily combustible residue. Instant start (starting temperature at 0 degrees F) T-8 electronic ballast provides greater energy savings. The lamp holders are twist in style. The lights feature front/inside access for easy lamp replacement and are equipped with an interlock switch to disable spray operations when light access door is opened or the lights are turned off within the booth.
· 1 set, swinging product entry doors (3 total doors), 7’ wide x 9’ high, with safety glass viewing windows that have rounded corners and are sealed into the door from both sides. Safety glass has wire mesh built into the glass to minimize shattering and spreading of glass in case of breakage. Doors are 2” tube framed and double skinned with rock wool insulation. Outside/Inside appearance are consistent with the design of the booth and door opening is formed from welded and bolted tube steel with a white powder coat finish for sturdiness and durability. Door hinges are heavy duty for long lasting performance and hinge panels are built of tube steel with a white powder coat finish. Attachment points for the hinge to the hinge panel are at a pre-tapped steel block welded to the hinge panel. An airtight seal is created with a rubber gasket attached to the doors (not to the door framing) to avoid premature deterioration from contact with product entering/leaving the work area. Door Hardware consists of low profile latches and door closure rods mounted through the interior of the door to minimize flat surfaces that could collect dirt or debris. All latches to operate door closure rods are painted red for visibility and are attached to the closure rods via threaded connection.
· 2 ea. Personnel access door (3’0”W x 7’0”H) with wire mesh reinforced safety glass observation window. Door is similar in construction to product entry doors with a welded frame having a powder coat finish. Closure is using a spring loaded catch that can be pushed open in an emergency exit situation.
· 1 ea.” 3-way solenoid valve to prevent spraying in booth when fans are off or light tube access door is opened (NFPA-33 requirement). This valve is also interlocked to the product and personnel doors as well as to the LEL Monitor.
· 3 ea. Explosion proof of closure door limit switches to detect when a door has been opened during booth operation and cease spray functions after a timed delay. Switches are air operated to eliminate any electrical source near access points to the Hazardous area.
