CNATT SIMULATOR ROOM AC REPLACEMENT
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
1. QUESTION: Was there a basis of design used for the 4.0 ton unit, ceiling cassette, wall mounted cassette, and diffusers prescribe din the specifications? If so, please provide the Basis Of design.
ANSWER: The simulator area air conditioning is currently 10 ton split and is obsolete.
In order to best restore supply air conditioning to all areas a ductless system could do that, 4 ton unit to the center room should be adequate for the simulator room (no information on heat load). The other areas are separate and require air conditioning wall units, heating and cooling with turn down control (inverter type).
Ductless systems have adequately substituted for other designed air conditioning replacements.
2. QUESTION: No drawings were provided as part of the solicitation package. If drawings are available, please provide As-Built Drawings for the current Mechanical, Electrical, and Architectural systems installed.
ANSWER: No drawings of the previous system, prints, etc. design specifications, are available.
