Questions from Potential Offerors with Answers:

1. Where is the green waste that needs to be removed?

The green waste CLIN 0008 is the trimmings and removed trees. Everything that falls from the trees needs to be removed from the grounds. This is CLIN 0008.

2. In the pricing structure CLIN 0009 lists equipment rental. Does this mean all other line items are labor only and any equipment (i.e. bucket trucks, skid steer, stump grinder, chipper, dump trailer) would be listed under this line item?

CLIN 0009 is specifically for rental equipment. The other CLINS are labor only. What is it going to cost to perform each CLIN. Do not include the cost of equipment rental when factoring the cost for the other CLINS.

3. Is a Wage Determination needed?

The Wage determination to be used is posted with this amendment (Amendment 1).

4. During the work what are the requirements for traffic control when working on roadways on the base?

Traffic control (if necessary) will not be provided by the government. Traffic requirements will be handled by the contractor. They will need to schedule with the COR dates and times to ensure that there are no road closures or traffic impediments for emergency services. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the safety of their personnel and those traveling on the roadways near the work sites.
