Laundry Service FA442719Q0103
Questions and Answers
Q: How old are the Joint Service Lightweight Integrated Suit Technology (JSLIST) training suits and Cotton Inserts? Do you have systems in place to determine the life span of the garments? Do you have supporting documentation to confirm the age of the garments?
A: None of this information applies to the items the vendor will clean because they are JSLISTs that have already expired and therefore have been converted to training gear. They don’t have a service life anymore.
Q: What is the replacement cost for each item?
A: There are no dollar amounts associated with JSLISTs and gloves converted to training gear. Real-world jackets, trousers, and gloves are $245, $224, and $27 respectively. But vendors will not be cleaning real-world items, as this contract is to clean training gear, so these dollar amounts may be of little value to the question.
Q: Can you provide a picture of the items?
