Questions and Answers

---New Questions— Weight of items to be stored?

-The weight of the items stored is unknown but the total weight of items being stored per carrier will not exceed 395 lbs. Minimum weight capacity per carrier is 50 lbs

Is there a back-up generator in/for the building, already in place, that would serve as the back-up source for this machine in the event of a power outage?

-No, the building these units are being installed does not have a backup generator. We are not requesting a backup generator. The building is not wired to accept an auxiliary outside electrical source.

-Up to 110''W x 24''D x 13H'' per carrier or up to 23''D x 9"W x 3''H per Tote

Quantity of items to be stored?

-Over 240 items

Any special requirements of the items to be stored?

-No special requirements

How will the items be moved? By hand?

-The items stored will be removed from the unit by hand

Can the dimensions of the items to be stored be interchanged if needed for the best storage solution in the unit? (Can you change the orientation with depth and height?)

-Yes

Any room restrictions?

-Yes, unit should be less than 10' in height

Anything special about the application?

-No

Is a hand crank required so that the unit must be able to have access to all items during a power outage?

-No. A manual hand crank and/or a backup power source is required.

Are rollers required to move the machine instead of having to totally dismantle in case of relocation?

-Rollers are needed in order to move the unit within the chosen location. Moving the unit outside of the desired location may require the unit to be dismantled.

What is being stored in these units?

-KC46 ground support equipment such as test equipment, small tool boxes, multimeter, powered hand tools, ground cords, headsets, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), common and peculiar support equipment.

Max height, depth and width of each unit?

-Must not exceed 9'10.6''H 136.8”W x 76.8”D

How many carriers or how much surface space is needed per unit?

-11 carriers
