1. Removal of existing dock locks. Does the government want to keep the existing dock locks to use elsewhere or removed from site?
- The Government will remove and keep existing dock locks.
2. In the SOW- Dock Locks- 1.1.4 12” debris guards close off sides, is this intended for the truck leveler and dock locks? The 12” guards on either side of the dock locks may interfere with their operation, please clarify.
- Debris guards have been removed from the SOW.
3. In the SOW- Dock Locks 1.1.5 Automatic tire sizing, is this referring to an automatic function for catching the truck ICC bar? Please clarify
-The automatic tire sizing is embedded in the dock leveler when the tire roles over a certain point, it will come up and act as sort of a chalk or a stop for the tire but, it is not associated with the ICC bar.
