Q. Does the company need a Facility Clearance or just the employees working at the installation shall have a security clearance?

A. In accordance with Department of Defense Manual 5220.22, Volume 2, Air Force Manual16-

1406 Volume 2, National Industrial Security Program: Industrial Security Procedures for

Government Activities, the prime contractor for a classified procurement must have a valid

Facility Clearance at the highest level of classified information involved in the contract, even if a subcontractor will perform all classified activity. The contractor will indicate such requirement in the DD Form 254.

Q. Will we need to submit signed Non-Disclosure Agreements for the personnel?

A. Non-Disclosure Agreements is part of the Security Clearance process.
