Questions – Electronic Message Center

1. The scope of work does not indicate the method of connection to these displays in order to load your content. Can you provide the means as to your preferred method?

A: Direct connect using a Pair Gain through DSL (not internet).

2. If you have current photos of these existing displays, can you share them?

3. Are the signs intended to replace existing signs?

A: Yes, it’s a retrofit. Upgrading the screens not the frame/structure. Fit within existing structure.

4. Do you have any specifications for how the signs would be installed?

A: Use existing structure, power and communications connections.

5. Please provide drawings of structure Electronic Message Centers are to be attached too, length of data cable run / any paving obstructions.

A: Everything is already in the structure. No running cables needed. The only cables needed are to run the actual screens; between power source, power supplies and panels.

6. How will primary power be handled?

A: Direct power; existing source.

7. What is the overall height of existing signs?

A: Dimensions – back of each screen display (the case): 151.25” x 75.5”

• Front Gate

• Upright beam is 160” from low ground to top

• Cross beams are 138” wide and 72” apart

• Back Gate - upright beams are 98” from the ground to the top

8. Are present signs hard wired or wireless?

A: Present signs are hardwired.
