| 20 | You have requested a sample of each kit but it doesn’t appear that the Loadout Bag (CLIN 0008), padded equipment belt (CLINs 0009-0012) and flashlight holder (CLIN 0042) are assigned to a kit. Do you request samples of these items also? | You are correct, these items are not part of a kit. Yes, we request a sample of each of these items. | |
| 21 | CLIN 0008 | Is the Loadout bag required to meet the Near Infrared spectral Reflectance (NIR) standards? | No, the loadout bag is not required to meet NIR standards. |
| 22 | 113/CLIN 0008 | The salient characteristics identified on page 113 states that all items will be made in the Air Force Digital Tiger Stripe (AFDTS) print but the color description of the Loadout bag states black. What is the desired color of the Loadout bag? | Loadout bag should be black. |

| 25 | 113 | Page 113 indicates the the Bungee and Elastic must meet MIL-W-5038, Type 2 Class1. This creates two issues: | |
| 25.1 | a. MIL SPEC called out should be MIL-T not MIL-W | MIL-W-5038 should read MIL-PRF-5038, as originally stated, this applies to binding tape | |
| 25.2 | b. This spec does not relate at all to elastic cords. | As originally stated, MIL-5664 applies to Bungee/Elastic; except for changing "W" to "PRF" as stated in the response to 25a above, information was correct in the salient characteristics section of the original solicitation. | |
| 25.3 | Thus, is our finding correct? | No | |
| 26 | 160 | Page #160 states 3 copies of tech volume are required but it does not indicate how many sets of samples are required. How many proposal samples are required? | A sample of each item is required. |
| 27 | Will operational samples be made available to the low bidder to evaluate to make sure products match? | No, the Government will not provide a sample. | |
| 28 | CLIN 0001 | Rifleman's Kit, if I read the RFP correctly a quantity of 3275 plus 25% of that number can be ordered for the first calendar year, is this correct? | The surge chart is included to show that the majority of the orders will occur during the 4th quarter of the fiscal year (Jul-Aug-Sep). The projected quantity is for the first year. Should we have something else happen in the world and an increase in deployments, we want to let everyone know that at those times, we may have a short lead time to meet that increase. |
| 29 | We are respectfully requesting an extension in order to prepare the best possible response to the government. | At this time, we can't give an extension. We are on a short time frame and have to have this awarded and issued to all of the contracting offices for them to utilize this vehicle. | |
| 30 | Once an order is placed from this contract, when is the first product due? Example 30 days from order receipt. | The individual delivery orders will give the delivery time. | |
