Questions and Answers

1. What grade of fabrics shall be included?

The grade must be stain‐resistant, germ‐resistant, fade‐resistant, tear and puncture resistant, easy to clean, and easy to maintain.

2. Are there photos available of existing product to help explain the salient characteristics required? There are no photos available.

3. Is there a loading dock available for receiving product? If not, is the parking lot adequate to park & unload a 53’ trailer? Yes, to loading dock, and there is adequate room in the parking lot to park and unload a 53’ trailer.

4. If a forklift is required to unload the trucks will the Government provide such? The government will not provide a forklift.

5. Who is responsible for removing the old furniture? Contractor.

6. Are their dumpsters onsite available for disposing cardboard & other trash. There are dumpsters on site for removal of trash and cardboard (but not for disposing of old furniture).

7. Does the Government intend to install each classroom separately or work all classrooms at once? ‐If all the furniture arrived at the same time, we would install them one room at time using a priority system. We would work that with the vendor to make sure it could be accomplished efficiently and effectively in an agreed timeline. This would allow the TRG to align technology with furniture in the appropriate classrooms and test them out.

‐ If separately, as long as we are able to put the appropriate furniture in the appropriate classroom we would still like to do one room at a time. If the furniture came in mixed, a variety of furniture that would be distributed in a variety of classrooms, we would work with the vendor to make sure we could work where possible in clean rotation of rooms until we were done. This last one, would/could delay our capability to bring the rooms online in an efficient manner.

8. What is the period of performance for this project? – 90 Days after receipt of award.

9. Are there any restricted non work days for the installation? Government holidays.

10. What are the acceptable work hours? 0730‐1630

11. Product 1a – please clarify the flexible backrest on the table? This was accidental, no backrest on table required.

12. Product 4a – please confirm tabletop shape Isosceles trapezoid, with the monitor support at the short end of the isosceles trapezoid.

13. Requirement 1

1A – Two different height requirements are listed, please verify The table must be able to adjust heights between 28” to 44”.

What is the flexible backrest referring to on the table? Salient characteristics document has been corrected to omit this requirement.

2A – Would a smaller overall width of 23.25” be acceptable? Overall width: 28” – 30” IAW Salient characteristics.

3A –

Would an overall width of 32”w be acceptable? Overall width: 32” – 38” IAW Salient

Characteristics.

Would an overall height of 28.25”h be acceptable? Overall Height: 28”‐31” IAW Salient Characteristics.

Would an overall depth of 33.5”d be acceptable? Overall Depth: 33”‐38” IAW Salient Characteristics.

3B – Would an overall width & depth of 36” be acceptable? Overall Width & Diameter 26” – 30” IAW Salient Characteristics Would an overall height of 15”h be acceptable? Overall height: 17”‐20” IAW Salient Characteristics
