Excavator Rental at Columbus Air Force Base, MS

Questions and Answers 27 July 2018

1. Are pictures of the two building available?

- No, pictures are not available

2. Are the buildings on a slab?

- Yes

2a. If so, will the slab be part of the disposal?

- Yes, the slabs will be broken apart and placed into the appropriate piles.

2b. Do you know how thick the slab is?

- Both are 6". One contains steel reinforcement, but do not know what type. (either mesh or rebar)

3. What is the roof type?

- One roof is standing metal seam, the other is reinforced lightweight concrete.

3a. Metal or shingles?

- One is metal, the other is concrete as stated above.

3b. What is the exterior of the building, brick, wood, block?

- Exterior of both buildings are block.

3. Will the debris be separated into separate piles or all just one big pile?

- The debris will be sorted prior to it being pick up and disposed of. To the greatest extent possible, the government will be disposing of the metal via on-site recycling, which will not be a part of the contractor's scope here. The contractor shall have no part in the metal recycling portion.
