Text version

1. What wage code or codes should we use for Official Mail clerks under the Register for Wage Determination(WD) (see attachment)? WD 77-0193 published 03/10/15 for Southern States Mail Hauling Services defines minimum pay for Mail Casers and drivers but was not included in original RFP so we are not sure if this is the appropriate labor/fringe rates to use.

There are no specified positions to be filled in order to run the Base Information Transfer Center. The Government’s concerned is that the empolyees are paid according to the current Wage Determination for the positions you employ.

2. Paragraph 1.8.2. Will the Government furnish Overtime request and approval procedures to contractors?

Overtime will be on an as needed basis. The government does not customarily allow overtime with a need, which means we don't normally just allow it because work needs to be done. There has to be a serious circumstance in which overtime will be required. In the event that both the CO and the customer agree overtime is needed, it will be discussed with the contractor including any overtime rates based on the hours required. Although the Government may have a request in the future it in the event all other alternatives are exhausted and will require the obligation of more funding to make happen.

3. Paragraph 4.3.4.2: Will Government provide supplies (Trash receptacles, Trashcan liners, solvents, cleaners, Mops, brooms, HAZMAT storage cans in order to keep facility maintained?

The Government provides trash cans/liners, and cleaners. There is a broom and mop for the building that can be used if needed.

4. What is the current contract number/contractor name?

FA3022-12-F-0009 – Ability Works Inc.
