Combined Synopsis Solicitation

FA301619U0317 Amendment 1

Randolph Wildlife Bird Deterrent System

Q1. Are bird distress cry generators and speaker towers need to be included with the system?

RESPONSE: yes, All 36 cannons must individually provide bird distress cry generators and speaker towers integrated into the system. This distress cry feature is a critical capability to provide additional bird deterrence options. SOW was amended by adding a letter (g), under paragraph 4.3.1.1.

Q2. On SOW paragraph 4.3.1.1(e). The Fixed interface control stations indicate LP gas levels in each remote bird deterrent unit, but it does not indicate impeding battery failure. However, each remote bird deterrent unit is fitted with a low battery voltage indicator. Will that be sufficient?

RESPONSE: Yes, each remote bird deterrent unit fitted with a low batery voltage indicator will be sufficient.

Note: Two (2) hand held transmitters were added to paragraph 4.3.1.2 on SOW.
