Questions and Answers

[NOTE 2 March 2016] – Clerical error – On page 68 of the Solicitation, it was discovered that the last line under Category G, CLOTH DUFFLE BAG – WDWP bundles of 10 G 4,200 was included by mistake. The line should be ignored. Do not quote this line for category G items in CLINS 007, 1007, 2007, 3007, or 4007.

Q1: Are the amounts for one full year or approximate pickup amount each time?

A1: The amounts are for one full year.

Q2. What is the current value of the total contract?

A2. The current contract, FA3016-14-P-0078, includes both Lackland and Randolph laundry services, not just Randolph, so it is not a good comparison. The value of the current contract can be obtained through a freedom of information act (FOIA) request.

Q3. Who is the incumbent?

A3. The incumbent vendor, Sunshine Laundry, is no longer listed in the reps and certs in the System for Award Management (SAM) as a Small Business under the NAICS 812320, and is ineligible for award. The solicitation is 100 percent Small Business set-aside.

Q4: What is the turnaround time I see the pickup is one day after the call from COR, but does the delivery have to be made?

A4: The turnaround time for delivery is three business days.

Q5. Should we also include an individual price quote for all line items?

A5. The offeror shall insert proposed unit and extended prices for each Contract Line Item Number (CLIN), including all option periods. All unit prices must be rounded to no more than 2 decimal places. The extended amount must equal the whole dollar unit price multiplied by the number of units. The proposal must be submitted for a base plus four (4) option year periods.

Q6: Is this a follow-on requirement? If so, could you please provide the incumbent contract number for this opportunity?

A6: Yes. This is a follow on requirement. The current contract, FA3016-14-P-0078, includes both Lackland and Randolph laundry services, not just Randolph, so it is not a good comparison.

Q7: Is this a new requirement?

A7: No, this is a follow-on requirement. It will be a new contract, but it is not a new requirement.
