At conclusion of project the contractor is responsible for providing digital (AutoCAD and PDF formats) and hard copy as-built drawings of the modified fire suppression system as well as any related calculations. Government will provide local water system pressures to Contractor. Fire suppression system is to be designed according to UFC 3-600-01 and all other relevant codes.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

1. Drawing Page A1.0, general note 10 says to provide new fire suppression for new enclosures.

Can the gov. provide a fire suppression specification section and FP drawings?

ANSWER 1: SEE CHANGES TO PROJECT STATEMENT OF WORK NO. 1 ABOVE.

2. Can a basis of design be provided for the pre-engineered office spaces, and /or specifications and elevations?

ANSWER 2: Please see Statement of Work “Provide and Install New” sections for pre-engineered office systems information.

3. Drawing Page M1.0 says that OAU-1 is to be installed on the roof of one of the office spaces, and placed on a 6” pad. Instead of a 6” concrete pad on top of the pre-engineered ceiling, should OAU-1 be mounted on a roof curb, and can a detail be provided?

ANSWER 3: NO a roof curb is not necessary we are not penetrating the metal deck of the office space. The pad in question is a housekeeping pad. SEE CHANGES TO PROJECT

STATEMENT OF WORK NO. 2 ABOVE.
