Questions and Answers for FA2823-20-Q-9030 Brand Name or Equal Electro Impulse Lab’s Cooling Cart

Q1: What fluid should we use for the cooling medium? What inlet temperature, outlet temperature, and supply pressure of this fluid should we use for design?
A: Coolanol 20 is the fluid that must be used as the cooling medium. The Technical requirements are stated in Technical Order 12P3-2ALQ184-82-2. Table 2.1 Item 32. Page 2-3.
Unclassified version "Coolanol-20 reference" Pdf has been uploaded and requirements can be seen in paragraph 7-4.
Q2: Does the PAO Chiller Cart need to include a closed loop cooling unit to remove heat (BTUs) from the POD Coolanol 20?
A: The PAO Chiller Cart will need closed loop cooling to remove heat.
Q3: What are the interface fittings/etc. between a PAO CHiller Cart and Lab cooling system if PAO Chiller Cart doesn't require a closed loop cooling unit?
A: There are no interface fittings required because it is closed loop.
Q4: What is the Electro Impulse Model number with associated performance specs that a PAO Chiller Cart will be compared to?
A: We are currently using Electro Impulse Inc. model # 41030-1 & model # 41030-2
Q5: The Chiller cart is expected to have its own self-contained chilling unit? Or, will there be an external cooling/chilling supply provided to it i.e., chilled water, refrigerant, etc.?
A: The PAO Chiller Cart will need closed loop cooling to remove heat.
