STATEMENT OF WORK

HH-60G CTF Telemetry Trailer

24 JANUARY 2017

1. SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall design, manufacture, and deliver a mobile flight telemetry trailer for the 413th Combined Test Force (CTF), Nellis AFB, NV.

Provide a trailer, shelter, integrated power system, telemetry antenna to support a Zodiac

Aerospace COM’TRACKJ S band antenna, and comfort station according to the specifications listed below. The flight telemetry trailer will be towed by a one-tone Dually, Ford F450 or equivalent, and shall not exceed 30,000 pounds maximum wet towing weight. The system will be towed over improved dirt roads. The shelter, antenna tower, generator, and other supporting equipment shall be above the trailer deck to maximize ground clearance. The shelter will be used to house three test engineers and their telemetry equipment performing remote operations flight test support.

2. TRAILER SYSTEM:

2.1. Trailer maximum wet (water and fuel tanks full) GVWR shall be less than 30,000 pounds.

2.2. Chassis will be ruggedized and offer sufficient ground clearance for use on improved dirt roads.

2.3. Trailer shall meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for lighting, braking, and axle ratings.

3. POWER SYSTEM:

3.1. 20 KW diesel generator, starter battery and fuel tank for 12-hours of operation at generator 50% rated load.

3.2. The generator shall recharge the generator starter battery.

3.3. The power system shall have a shore power disconnect to allow shore power to shelter.

3.4. All power cabling shall meet NFPA standards, NEC grounding.

4. TELEMETRY ANTENNA TOWER:

4.1. Tower height shall be a minimum of 15’, with the ability to extend to 30’. Mast example:

Wil-Burt Pneumatic Mast.

4.2. Tower top load weight maximum is 100 lbs.

4.3. Tower top load sail area is 25x32 inches.

4.4. Tower maximum operational wind speed 45 knots.

4.5. Industry standard cell tower grounding.

4.6. The tower shall have obstruction lighting.

4.7. The tower shall have co-ax cable guides.

4.8. Antennas will mount on tower top only.

5. SHELTER:

5.1. The shelter minimum size shall be 8’ wide, 12’ long.

5.2. The shelter minimum interior roof height shall be 7’10”.

5.3. Shelter roof shall be designed for personnel to walk on.

5.4. The shelter will be large enough to accommodate three test engineers working at enclosed trailer fold up (or down) work stations on one long wall, with counter tops and cabinets installed on the other long wall.

5.5. The shelter shall have one (1) 19” full height shock mounted rack installed.

5.6. The shelter shall have one (1) 200 Amp 60 Hz distribution panel for the 60 Hz trailer power.

5.7. The shelter shall have 60 Hz AC power outlets routed inside the shelter long walls.

5.8. The shelter shall have weather protected 60 Hz AC power outlets on each of the external sides of the shelter.

5.9. The shelter shall have two 15,000 BTU RV air conditioners.

5.10. The shelter shall have two cable penetrations mounted in a NEMA enclosure, one on the trailer forward end, and the second on the trailer back end. Penetration example:

Roxtec EzEntry I/O ports mounted in a NEMA rated enclosure.

5.11. The shelter will have a roof access ladder.

5.12. The shelter shall have exterior work lights on each side of the shelter.

5.13. The shelter shall have dimmable interior LED lighting that will provide lighting equivalent to a normal office environment.

5.14. One 24” tool box.

5.15. Cargo tie downs.

5.16. Non-skid, non-conductive floor.

5.17. Shelter comfort station(s) with the following:

5.17.1. Enclosed toilet facility with a hand washing station.

5.17.2. Microwave installed in the work area.
