Memorandum for Record

FROM: 50 CONS/PKB

SUBJECT: Responses to Requests for Information for FA2550-19-Q-A001

1. Can we have a clarification as to how many workstations are required?

Government response: We need a total of 20 workstations.

2. Is there an AUTOCAD drawing available?

Government response: An AUTOCAD drawing cannot be provided. There is an attached diagram for reference.

3. Was the site visit on the 28th mandatory and if unable to attend, can we bid on this?

Government response: No, the site visit was not mandatory and you may still bid on it.

4. Is moving of existing furniture supposed to be included in the RFQ?

Government response: No, there is no existing furniture to be moved.

5. The layout provided is all new furniture and not modifying existing, correct?

Government response: Yes, we are requesting all new furniture.

6. What floor would the new furniture be located and installed?

Government response: The furniture will be installed on the first floor.

7. Is there a loading dock, elevator (if needed) that will be accessible?

Government response: No.

8. What type of stackable panel system is desired- monolithic, frame and tile, or frame and tile look but monolithic panel?

Government response: A monolithic panel system is desired.

9. What type/grade of panel material is required? Fabric? Glass? Laminate? Other?

Government response: Fabric is preferred.

10. How many duplex receptacles are needed per work station?

Government response: We require 2 pair of duplex receptacles per workstation

11. What is the overall panel height desired for all work stations?

Government response: We would prefer to have desktop height wherever there is not an overhead storage if possible.

12. Is wood veneer the only acceptable work surface material, or can a wood-look laminate be used if it meets industry durability standards?

Government response: Yes, wood veneer is the only acceptable work surface material.

13. Is a single or dual monitor arm required?

Government response: Dual monitor arm is necessary.

14. Does the building have a loading dock/receiving area?

15. What are the required delivery times?

Government response: 30 days after award of contract. Be sure to explicitly state your delivery dates.

16. Will a dumpster be available on-site for packaging disposal?

17. Will installation team need to be escorted while on site?

Government response: Yes.

18. There are workstation with overhead storage and task lights on East Wall (right side of drawing) in Attachment 2- this is a window wall. Please confirm you would like the windows blocked by the panels required to support the overhead storage units for these

(4) work stations.

Government response: Yes, these windows will be blocked.

19. Specification clarifications:

a. For the BA workstations: for the (2) BA 6x6 Staff cubes:

i. One (1) should have a 24”x72” Wave top work surface with a return

ii. One (1) should have a corner work surface

iii. Both (2) should have a monitor arm

iv. All other modifications listed on Attachment 3 under typical BA do not apply

Government response: All above are correct.

b. For the BB workstations: There are a total of 8 workstations; for each 2-Pod

i. One (1) should have a 24”x72” wave top work surface with a return

ii. One (1) should have a corner work surface, for a total of (4) of each style work surface

iii. There are (4) monitor arms requested; which workstations receive a monitor arm.

iv. There are (4) BB workstations with overhead storage and task lights on East Wall (right side of drawing) in Attachment 2- this is a window wall: please confirm you would like the windows blocked by the panels required to support the overhead storage units for these (4) work stations.

Government response: For i. and ii., they are correct. For iii., there are 8 monitor arms being requested. For iv., we do want the windows blocked.

c. For the BC (4) workstation pods: there are a total of (3) pods = 12 workstations.

i. There are (3) monitor arms requested; please identify which work stations receive a monitor arm.

ii. How many work stations have a corner work surface?

iii. How many work stations have a straight top work surface?

iv. How many work stations have a wave top work surface?

Government response: For i., there will be 12 monitor arms. For ii., there will be 8 workstations with a corner work surface. For iii., no work stations will have a straight top work surface. For iv., 4 workstations will have a wave top work surface.

d. For the BD workstations: (5) are requested, however, during the site visit, only (3) were identified.

Government response: To clarify, the requirement is for 3.
