Responses to Questions – Bldg 672
1. Is there an AutoCAD file available of this building that you could provide to us for our use in laying out this furniture?
NO, THERE IS NOT AUTOCAD FILE FOR THIS PROJECT AVAILABLE
1. According to the Statement of Work, item 1.2 Specifications, each workstation is 7’ X 7’. But, in looking at the layout it appears that most of these workstations are smaller than 7’ X 7’. The one enlarged plan shows this particular station as 66” X 66” (5’-6” X 5’-6”). If possible, please provide a dimensioned furniture plan indicating the size requirements of every workstation in each room.
PLEASE UTILIZE DIMENSIONS IN STATEMENT OF WORK WHEN PROVIDING PRICING
1. The Specifications also mention a transaction top, but it does not appear that any of these workstations have one of these. Please confirm that there are no workstations with this requirement.
CONFIRMED, THERE ARE NO TRANSACTION TOPS FOR THIS BUILDING
1. Please provide size and storage specifications for Printer Areas in Room 109 and 112. The 3D drawing provided seems to show power above the worksurface but is not called out anywhere – please confirm.
ROOM 109 HAS POWER CURRENTLY WIRED INTO THE FURNITURE. ROOM 112 HAS 110v OUTLETS ABOUT 12” OFF THE FLOOR
1. Is standard paint trims accepted in lieu of a metallic paint?
YES
1. Where is the existing power and data in these rooms – in the walls or coming from the ceiling?
ONLY ROOMS 109 AND 110 HAVE POWER WIRED INTO THE CURRENT FURNITURE. ALL OTHER ROOMS HAVE 110V OUTLETS ABOUT 12” OFF THE FLOOR.
1. Can you provide a plan showing where the existing power feeds and/or poles are in the existing furniture to be taken down and removed?
UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS NO PLAN FOR THIS BUILDING, ONLY ROOMS 109 AND 110 HAVE POWER WIRED INTO THE CURRENT FURNITURE. ALL OTHER ROOMS HAVE 110V OUTLETS ABOUT 12” OFF THE FLOOR.
1. Will there be an opportunity to conduct a site visit so that our electrician can verify the existing circuitry in this building?
DUE TO TIME CONTRAINTS, A SITE VISIT WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE
1. Per the Combined Solicitation/Synopsis, item (vii) states that the Period of Performance (PoP) for this requirement is 60 days after award, and that the anticipated start date is 16 September 2019. May we assume that this date will be revisited due to the fact that the bid due date is 9 September? Please provide a revised date if possible.
YES THE POP WILL BE UPDATED TO A DELIVERY DATE OF 60-70 DAYS AFTER AWARD
