Project Title: Irrigation Maintenance
Question # 1: Is electrical/irrigation troubleshooting (low/high voltage) for the irrigation system (valve wiring tracing/wire locating, solenoids ohms resistance and wiring short checks, pump stations, etc) within the scope of this contract because we have a C-10 electrician on staff? If yes, when electrical wiring deficiencies are discovered, is it acceptable to first contact the Contracting Officer to receive permission to proceed with repairs?
RESPONSE: No, electrical/irrigation troubleshooting is not in the scope of this contract. The Contractor is not responsible for any electrical deficiencies. The Contractor shall notify the COR and the COR will coordinate fix with the CE Utilities Shop.

RESPONSE: Yes.
Question # 3: Will the irrigation repair parts be supplied by CE? If parts are not supplied by CE, are the irrigation parts cost reimbursable to the contractor in addition to freight if required?
RESPONSE: The Contractor shall provide replacement parts required for maintenance of the irrigation system. Replacement parts include, but are not limited to sprinkler heads, washers, gaskets, valves, PVC piping, etc. The Contractor shall bill for the aforementioned replacement parts against CLIN 0002 – Reimbursable Parts.
