Questions and Answers 17 June 2020

1. The specifications provided lists three (3) different hydraulic system operating pressures for the baler – 2000 PSI, 2500 PSI & 3000 PSI. Typically specifications call out only ONE operating pressure, which corresponds to the operating pressure of the baler specified. Could you clarify which of these three operating pressures is correct?

Answer:

In normal operation the baler operates in the range between 2000 and 2500. When it is tying it has 3000 psi or in manual mode it will operate with 3000 PSI

1. In most situations a larger bale chamber would be considered both “exceeding” the specifications provided, and to be preferable. However, we want to make sure there are no reasons which we were made aware about that the bale chamber NEEDS to be 30” tall? In short we would like to make sure that whomever will be evaluating the bids would find the taller bale chamber acceptable?

Answer:

Yes a taller bale chamber would be acceptable if all other requirements are met
