Site Visit Questions and Answers

Question: What are the most frequent types of failures?

Government Answer: *SEE ATTACHMENT

Question: There is a phone support requirement on the solicitation, do you think that will be helpful?

Government Answer: Yes, the Government has individuals that can make the repairs with the technical guidance of the contractor.

Question: What does the average week/month look like?

Government Answer: * SEE ATTACHMENT

Question: Is it acceptable to have a third party on the controller?

Government Answer: Yes, as long as it is reflected in the quote. All contractor personnel should be listed in the contractor’s quote.

Question: Is shipping the responsibility of the contractor?

Government Answer: Yes, shipping is the responsibility of the contractor.

Question: The Preventive Maintenance Instructions (PMI) included with the solicitation, do you want the contractor to just review and make suggestions for improvements?

Government Answer: Yes, the PMI came with the units when they were installed and the Government would like to know if there are changes or improvements that need to be done.

Question: Will the contractor have to program parts?

Government Answer: No, programming parts will not be required.

Clarification: Does the contractor have to physically repair the FlashJet?

Government Answer: Yes, see CLINS X003 and X004
