Estimated Parts List

36 EA WSD VIP-E Communication Panels

Definition: Versatile Interface Panel Extension (VIP-E) - The VIP-E contains a 32-bit microprocessor running at 150 MHz, which provides distributed processing to the VIP, and gives it independent intelligence to handle instantaneous access control and processing decisions, local transaction storage and automatic event processing without the need for host intervention. All access control decisions are made by the VIP-E, based on information transferred from the host upon start-up of the system and updated periodically during operation. The VIP-E has 128 MB of built-in RAM used to contain all information required to run independently from the host.

52 EA WSD-E Card Readers

Definition: Weatherized Single Door (WSD) Reader – The card reader is an interface component to communicate with the LINX Predator Elite CCDE system and is used to regulate personnel to local and remote secure areas and alerts security monitors of attempted unauthorized entry. The WSD reader is being replaced with an enhanced version (WSD-E): The WSD-E is an access control card reader that is a form-fit-function replacement for the obsolete WSD 2000 with enhanced features. Enhanced features include new LCD display; versatile interface panel door controller, additional inputs and output, universal reader port for support of any industry standard Wiegand reader, RS232 diagnostics capability and supports dynamic configuration downloads.
