Questions and Answers Advanced Integrated Weapons Shooting and Tactical Combat Skills Training

1. Question - Is the contractor required to provide lodging for all 80 personnel?

Answer - No, the contractor is only responsible for its personnel.

2. Question - What is the maximum distance from range/classroom/training area that students can be lodged?

Answer - Lodging and transportation for students is already provided.

3. Question - Is the contractor required to provide transportation to/from lodging location and arrival airport of students?

Answer – No, the contractor is only responsible for its personnel.

4. Question - Are the training ranges located on Ft. Jackson or McCrady Training Center?

Answer - Both

5. Question - Are the CQB buildings located on Ft. Jackson or McCrady Training Center?

Answer - Both

6. Question - Will the government provide a training classroom w/projector and adequate seating for 80 students?

Answer - Yes

6.a) Question - If so, where will the classroom be located?

Answer - McCrady Training Center

7. Question - Are there additional safety and equipment required for the Ultimate Training Munition Man Markers, IE Face mask, bolt carrier group, gloves?

Answer - Yes

7.a) Question - If so, will the contractor be responsible to provide additional safety and equipment?

Answer - No

8. Question - Is it M9, M4 or Both for UTM equipment and ammunition?

Answer - M4 Only for students

9. Question - Will the contractor be required to provide meals for students, for each day of training?

Answer – No, the contractor is only responsible for its personnel.

10. Question - Is the contractor responsible for providing range ammunition and Ultimate Training Munition Man Markers for training?

Answer – No

11. Question - Will the contractor personnel be required to be a certified Range Safety Officer (RSO) by Ft. Jackson and/or McCrady Training Center Range Control?

Answer - No

12. Question - Are contractor personnel required to have a security clearance to perform work on Ft. Jackson or McCrady Training Center?

Answer - No

13. Question - Is the contractor responsible for providing access for personnel to enter Ft. Jackson or McCrady Training Center?

Answer - No

14. Question - Is the contractor responsible for maintaining and housing government issued weapons in a vault throughout the duration of training when students are not utilizing weapons?

Answer - No

15. Question - Are government or military vehicles required for transportation of students to/from lodging, training areas, classroom and ranges?

Answer – No

16. Question - Is the contractor responsible to provide medical bags and medical consumables for TCCC training?

Answer - Yes

17. Question - Is the contractor responsible to provide range consumables such as but not limited to; range stands, targets, target backers, etc.?

Answer – Targets and Target Backers will need to be provided by Contractor.

18. Question - Is the contractor responsible to provide Operational Force (OpFor) during force on force training with Ultimate Training Munitions Man Maker Rounds?

Answer - No

19. Question - The dates provided indicate the following: 29 Feb - 10 Mar: this is a total of 11 days. CLIN 001 states 10 days of tng. Is there a day off over the weekend?

Answer - 29 Feb and 10 Mar do not require any instructors. Those days are set for travel and set-up/tear-down.

20. Question - Will COMCAM allow the 80 students to be divided into 2 ea. 40 pax groups? This creates a more conducive small group training environment, while operating in Small Units (SUT skills). Less downtime for pax waiting rotation in scenario based exercises, weapons training etc.?

Answer - The members will be broken down into 4 teams, 20 members ea. Most days will have teams spread across different training venues and contractor will only be responsible for 20-40 at a time. There are 2 days when all members will be with the contractor at one time.

21. Question - Will the military reservation provide access to instructors with weapons, ammunition, mil kit, etc?

Answer - No. Contractors will not be allowed weaponry or ammo. Kit will be responsibility of contractor.

22. Question - Will COMCAM provide Medical supplies for the TCCC module?

Answer - No.

23. Question - Para 10.1 states: COMCAM cadre will provide range availability and time frames, the contractor must incorporate into the training plan / schedule. Contractor must be flexible to accommodate changes with minimal notice. Will you provide in advance to proposal submission date the range and venue schedule. It is difficult to develop a schedule w/o requested info?

Answer - A training schedule has already been created, members will have full 12 hour days while on range, not all 80 at one location/training event. Each team (sometimes up to all four = 80ppl, refer to question 20) 1 day 25m flat range, 1 day 25-300m popups, 2 day MOUT, 1 night 25-300m popups, 1 day team-shoot-move barricade range.

24. Question - Will COMCAM student have meals provided (on-site)?

Answer - Members will have MREs provided by the Government.

25. Question - Does the training location have on-post lodging (for pay) that may be made available to our cadre during training dates?

Answer - Nearby Army installation has billeting, contractor is responsible for scheduling.

26. Question - Attachment #3 (PWS), # 6.1: For the required 20 minimum radios, are there any specific accessories required?

Answer – Contractor only needs to provide the Radios and tools required to program them.

27. Question - Attachment #3 (PWS), #8.1: Will the scenario phase listed take place within the 10 day training cycle and if so, how much time will be required to complete it?

Answer - Yes, certain evenings/days are set for scenarios at different times, scenarios are written/directed by Government SMEs; contractor is required to add tactical input at all stages.

28. Question - For weapons training, what is the amount of ammunition allotted for each shooter, for each weapon system (M9 and M4)?

Answer - Not a set number yet, round count will be divided depending on range. Round count will be a minimum of 600(m4)/300(m9) per shooter.

29. Question - What facilities, ranges, shoot houses, class rooms, targets are available for usage on the McCrady ANG Training Center?

Answer - 25-300m Popup, 25m Flat (rifle/pistol), Hardened CONEX MOUT villages, multiple buildings (UTM/Blank Approved), Conference Room, Popup Targets, 2 post cardboard stands on site, contactor will need to provide paper target types needed for 25m Flat).
