SOW

Rehab Retaining Wall July 21, 2016

General: The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools, parts, equipment, transportation, tolls, facilities, plants, permits, fees, taxes, surcharges, licenses, insurance, bonds, expertise and supervision as necessary to perform all of the work stated in the subject solicitation and subsequent award.

Scope of Work/Description of Work/Objectives: This project will rehab drainage area and replace the existing retaining wall with fill dirt/topsoil to redirect storm run off to the existing storm drains at Erwin NFH. Work will consist of the following activities:

• Remove the existing concrete retaining wall and ditch paving from the driveway area to the existing Catch Basins.

• Haul removed concrete wall pieces to local landfill or approved disposal site.

• Place fill dirt over the removed concrete wall, from the driveway area to the access parking area.

• Slope the dirt from the top of the bank to the edge of the asphalt

• The run-off water will run along the edge of the road

• Rework the existing Catch Basin to receive storm water into the top only

• Place concrete stop in the existing Catch Basin half way up the ditch and abandon it

• Rework the lower section to drain into the reworked Catch Basin

• Place 6' of top soil over all disturbed areas

• Provide all labor and materials to complete the project.

• Hatchery staff to sow grass seed

Place of Performance: Erwin National Fish Hatchery, 520 Federal Hatchery Rd, Erwin, Tennessee, 37650, Unicoi County

Period of Performance: Sep 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016

Working Hours: Working hours for the Contractor will be from 7:30 a.m. thru 4:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday, excluding Saturdays and Sundays and federal holidays. A 72-hour advance coordination with the CO is required prior to working at any other time.

Contract Type: This is a Firm-Fixed Price Order. The contractor shall not exceed the awarded value of this Order and shall not be compensated on any expenses beyond the contract amount unless the designated Contracting Officer issued a written modification.
