About this file
This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) document from the Florida Department of Health, specifically the Miami-Dade County Health Department (CHD), seeking alarm services from Century Fire Protection LLC. The document outlines a three-year contract for monitoring, alarm, and maintenance services for 15 facility locations in the Miami-Dade area, with services including burglar and fire alarm monitoring, parts and equipment, repairs, labor, upgrades, and software updates to meet National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes. The solicitation was posted on 3/20/2025 with a response deadline of 4/10/2025, and the internal tracking number is EXP2629.
The estimated contract value is $194,997.00, with Century Fire Protection LLC identified as the sole source vendor due to their unique proprietary software and hardware systems. The justification for single-source procurement is based on the department's current use of Century Fire Protection's installed and certified system at the 15 locations, and the need to maintain compatibility and continuity of the integrated system. The document invites prospective vendors to provide information about their ability to supply the described services, with the agency reserving the right to confirm the single-source status after reviewing any submitted information.
