About this file
Exhibit B is a detailed scope of work for the University of Wyoming's Campus Classrooms Audio-Visual Technology Refresh project for Fall 2025. The document outlines comprehensive audio-visual upgrades for multiple classrooms across different departments, including Arts & Sciences, Business, Health Sciences, and STEM. The project encompasses installing new projection systems, ceiling-mounted projectors, interactive displays, PTZ cameras, microphone arrays, height-adjustable lecterns, and integrated audio-visual control systems across nine different classrooms with varying capacities ranging from 30 to 65 students.
The scope of work specifies that the University will provide certain owner-furnished equipment including desktop computers, accessories, height-adjustable lecterns, equipment racks, and interactive displays. The contractor is required to provide a one-year on-site maintenance and warranty for newly installed equipment, create comprehensive documentation including an equipment inventory and "as-built" diagrams, and ensure all cable installations meet specific technical requirements. Cable specifications include using unshielded CAT5E for network connections and shielded CAT6 for high-bandwidth video and audio connections, with all cables to be dressed using Velcro for easy access and troubleshooting.

Campus Classrooms Suggested Equipment List for system concept drawings and recommended bill of materials.
Please note that UWIT considers the AV diagrams to be concept drawings to help vendors and is not necessarily to be considered a complete system. The functionality of the rooms is based on the audio-visual drawings, equipment list, this scope of work, and pre-quote site visit with question and answer. It will be up to each vendor to review the provided documentation and come up with a system based on the needed functionality.
Vendors will also be responsible for installing architecturally and visually appealing covers for wiring pull boxes on wall surfaces.
A2 Scope of Work
Standard Classroom – Arts & Sciences 228 (AS 228)
Classroom AS 228, with a capacity of 30 students in a traditional classroom layout, will be equipped with a single ceiling-mounted projector utilizing the existing 133” 16:9 projection screen. Video signals will be transported via HDBaseT. Source equipment will include an installed PC (OFE) at the new height-adjustable lectern (OFE), with HDMI connectivity for user laptops, and a document camera. Audio playback will be by a distributed 70V mono system using ceiling-mounted speakers to achieve uniform

coverage throughout the room. An instructor microphone will be included for voice lift, and a beam-forming ceiling microphone array will capture student audio for conferencing and lecture capture. The system will feature two PTZ cameras to enable video conferencing capabilities. Control of the system will be managed via a touch panel interface at the lectern.
Please see Exhibit D – Fall 2025 Campus Classrooms Suggested Equipment List for a recommended bill of materials.
Active Learning Classroom – College of Business 110 (BU 110)
This classroom supports active, group, and problem-based learning. Each student “pod” will have an interactive display and HDMI laptop connection. The presentation and conferencing system will provide video and audio playback from all sources, voice reinforcement to the ceiling speakers, ceiling microphone arrays for students, two PTZ cameras, and full remote teaching and presentation capabilities. In addition, the system will have a new height-adjustable lectern. The existing equipment rack will be re-used with the new equipment. This room will support automatic camera presets with telemetry information provided by the microphone arrays.
Teaching Theater – College of Business 121 (BU 121)
This 65-seat classroom has fixed seating in a lecture style seating layout. The presentation and conferencing system will provide video and audio playback from the installed PC (OFE), user laptops via HDMI, and the document camera. The displays will be two laser projectors, and an oversize rear confidence monitor. The system will also feature voice reinforcement to the ceiling speakers, dual ceiling microphone arrays for students, three PTZ cameras, and full remote teaching and presentation capabilities. In addition, the system will have a new height-adjustable lectern (OFE), a new instructor worn lavalier microphone, and new 70v ceiling speakers. This room will support automatic camera presets with telemetry information provided by the microphone arrays.
Standard Classroom – Half Acre 115 (HA 115)
This classroom, with a capacity of 36 students in a traditional classroom layout, will be equipped with a single ceiling-mounted projector utilizing the dual existing 133” 16:9 projection screens. Video signals will be transported via HDBaseT. Source equipment will include an installed PC (OFE) at the new height-adjustable lectern (OFE), with
