Texas Education Agency RFP 701-24-010, College and Career Readiness School Models Technical Assistance

Addendum 3, April 1, 2024

This addendum incorporates the following changes to the above-referenced solicitation:

I. Questions - The following questions and associated responses are hereby incorporated into the above-referenced solicitation:

1. QUESTION: Will the deck link be shared in the chat?

TEA RESPONSE: The deck link has been posted on the ESBD as a PDF document.

2. QUESTION: Can there be anymore context provided around the term intrusive interventions, or any more information that can be provided around that term in the RFP TEA RESPONSE: The term Intrusive interventions appears in Task 3: Coaching. In that task, the term is- Speaking to the interventions that coaching will facilitate, which should include building cross sector interventions and data driven interventions with campuses that can facilitate change in the outcomes-based measures for the campuses.

The term also appears in Task 5 Data and Research. In Task 5 and Task 3, we want to Make sure there’s a data driven approach to the interventions that are planned for campuses. In the Task 5 sections where the RFP introduces intrusive interventions, we want to make sure there is quite a bit of detail for who is doing the coaching to set good outcomes for coaching, portal, or anything data driven. Intrusive means we have a lot of data, so we would like to know how do you plan on incorporating that data into the sections throughout the RFP. We have a lot of data, and the technical assistance can continue to reach and have communication with the existing learning communities, and stakeholders in the network.

3. QUESTION: For the CCRSM Network Transition, in one section of the RFP, it appears in two places. Is that intentional?

TEA RESPONSE: Yes, that is intentional. CCRSM Network Transition appears in both Task 1, Section 1.2 Transition Plan for CCRSM Network and in Task 4, Section 4.2, Transition Plan for CCRSM Network. Section 4 involves communications, so in this section we are thinking of it externally vs Task 1 being specific for project management. So are we planning the management component of a transition plan for the network in Task 1 and also the communication plan in Task 4, and that’s why it’s in two places.

4. QUESTION: Describe more on what you mean by CCRSM network transitions.

TEA RESPONSE: For Section 1.2 and Section 4.2 that speak to CCRSM network transitions, we are speaking to how the vendor will ensure that the existing CCRSM learning communities are maintained during the contract transition process. We want to ensure that our existing, participating CCRSM stakeholder networks and channels of communication are maintained during the contract transition process.

5. QUESTION: Is there a page or word limit to the proposal we submit?

TEA RESPONSE: There is no page or word limit for proposals.

6. QUESTION: Network Transitions- Does that include campus supports for schools transitioning out of the network or is that specific to the TEA provisions for the overall network?

TEA RESPONSE: For this particular task it speaks to more to the latter point, for campus supports for the overall network.

7. QUESTION: Will you be selecting more than one vendor?

TEA RESPONSE: The intention of the contract is to select one vendor.

II. All other provisions of the solicitation remain the same.
