About this file

This document is a Program Description from the Nevada Governor's Office of Energy (GOE) for the Energy Load Expansion & Viability for Advanced Technology & Evaluation in Nevada (ELEVATE NV) initiative. The program seeks large load customers and developers, such as data centers, transportation operators, and manufacturers, as collaborators for a Department of Energy (DOE) Partnership Intermediary Agreement. The performance period is estimated from Summer 2025 to Winter 2026, with a total subaward funding amount of $4,000,000 and an anticipated 2-5 awards. GOE will serve as the lead applicant and pass-through entity, with interested collaborators required to be "point load proponents" submitting their interest for the full DOE grant application.

The funding will be disbursed incrementally based on milestone completion, with invoices submitted for review and payments aligned with negotiated deliverables approved by the DOE. Collaborators must certify they are not owned or controlled by governments of countries deemed as risks. Reporting requirements include regular meetings, monthly progress reports, and reimbursement requests tied to DOE/GOE milestones. Interested participants should contact Nicole Kelleher, Energy Program Manager at nrkelleher@energy.nv.gov, with their collaboration intent. The program emphasizes supporting energy-intensive industries through collaborative technological development and evaluation.
