ATTACHMENT A- Statement of Work

Potomac Center Plaza Parking

The U.S. Department of Education (Department), Office of Management, Facilities and Management Services, Management Services Division oversees and manages the Department’s parking facilities. The Department is seeking to procure one hundred and seventy-five (175) parking spaces within a two (2) block radius of Potomac Center Plaza, 550 12th S.W., Washington, DC for Department staffs who work in the building.

The contractor shall provide the following items as outlined below:

1. Six (6) RESERVED Handicapped spaces (Extra-wide)

(Handicapped spaces are required to be at least 96 inches wide and parking spaces must be located near accessible entrances.)

2. One Hundred and Sixty -nine (169) Regular Parking spaces

(Regular spaces shall be a minimum of nine feet (9 ft.) in width and nineteen feet (19 ft.) in length.)

3. Covered and secured facility

4. Non-valet self-parking

5. 24-hour electronic key card access

6. Daily management of facility (including, but not limited to personnel, personnel uniforms, personnel training, supervision, and insurance in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this contract).

7. Ability to provide courteous assistance for customers

The primary purpose of this effort is to secure a contractor who has expertise in the areas of operating and managing the parking facilities. The Contractor shall furnish all that is required to manage the day-to-day parking efficiently and effectively.

The contractor shall provide parking permits to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), in the Transportation Services Division, a minimum of two weeks prior to the end of each quarter. Quarters are defined as follows:

· First Quarter (October 1st – December 31st)

· Second Quarter (January 1st – March 31st)

· Third Quarter (April 1st - June 30th)

· Fourth Quarter (July 1st – September 30th
