Questions and answers not addressed in Amendment 2
Additional Proposal Instructions.
Systems developed for this contract may be hosted in the IES Data Center. To be hosted in the IES Data Center, all websites and web applications must be developed using ASP.NET (.NET Framework 3.5, 4.5, 4.6, and MVC 3 are currently supported) and SQL Server 2012 Standard Edition on Windows 2012 Servers and comply with IES's web development standards. A copy of the standard is available upon request by contracting the Contract Specialist, Pavan Mehrotra or Contracting Officer, Helen Chang.
Other platforms and databases are not authorized to run in the IES Data Center. All third party software needs to be approved by the Department before installation. Any additional software must be licensed appropriately or be freely available through open source licensing. The contractor should not assume new software will be approved. All software developed under this contract should be transferred to IES free of any restrictions, licenses, or fees in accordance with the Rights and Data Clause contained in the contract.
40 P. 66, Task 4.2 The PWS indicates that
“System
Implementation and
Certification and
Accreditation” shall be due “Within 60 calendar days upon contract award.”
However, the process for Security
Authorization for the
Department’s OCIO requires a minimum of
90 days and must be scheduled with OCIO in advance.
1. Is the Security
Authorization already on the OCIO schedule?
2. If not, request that the Department reconsider the 60 day timeline for this subtask.
