PURPOSE

This document contains instructions for building CSV or XML files for Floating Rates and Treasury Foreign Exchange rates. The file formats are how Oracle EBS needs to consume the data. In the RFP, DFC is requesting a sample so that we can determine if the vendor can meet the needs that provided in this document.

FILE NAMING CONVENTION

Being able to identify any file transmission is an important consideration for DFC systems. The following is the naming convention for file transmission:

‘XXXXXYYYYMMDDHHMMSS’.ext

Where:

XXXXX: Five–character abbreviation for the Floating Rate file or Treasury file. Example: LIBOR, TREAS or similar five character code which identifies index/Treasury foreign exchange file uniquely.

YYYYMMDDHHMMSS: File Date: (YYYYMMDDHHMMSS) Example: 20200609180210 for date

9-JUN-2020 06:02:10 PM.

.ext: Three-character file extension identifying the file format as follows:

.csv – comma–delimited format
.xml – XML format.
