GRADUATE RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
2015 GRFP REVIEW SITE
Quick Reference Guide for GRFP Panelists: Reading Applications and Writing
Reviews Online
To navigate to the GRFP Review Site, visit this URL and bookmark it for easy access: https://extsharepoint.nsf.gov/grfp
The National Science Foundation’s 2015 GRFP Review Site is used to access and review GRFP applications and to support the GRFP virtual panels. Using this site, you will be able to read all the applications assigned to you, enter your review com-ments, and contact GRFP staff if you have any questions or concerns about an application.
During your virtual panel, you will complete additional activities as directed by the Program Officer running the panel.
Instructions for those activities are covered in the Quick Reference Guide for GRFP Panelists: Virtual Panel Activities.
STEP 1: LOG ON TO THE SITE WITH YOUR
USERNAME AND TEMPORARY PASSWORD
Log on to the site using your username and temporary password and click the Log On button.
STEP 2: ELECTRONICALLY SIGN AND SUBMIT YOUR
CONFLICT OF INTEREST (COI) FORM
After logging in, you will see the GRFP homepage, which includes instructions on using the site.
Before accessing any applications, you must complete the Conflict of Interest
(COI) form. To do this:
1. Click on the Click to Complete
COI Form button at the top of the home page. This will open the COI
Form.
2. Read the entire form, then click the checkbox to electronically sign the form.
3. Click the Submit button at the bot-tom. This will send your COI Form to the GRFP Program
Staff and return you to the
GRFP Review Site homepage.
You can access this form at any time by clicking on the Support Documents link from the home page.
Note: Your username is the same one that you used for the
GRFP Orientation Session on November 17, 18 , 21 or 24. If you cannot recall your username, you can find it in an email sent to you on November 7, from panelists@nsfgrfp.org with the subject line 2015 GRFP Panelist Orientation.
After logging on, you will be prompted to create a personal and secure password. Creating and using a secure password, known only to you, ensures that all sensitive information on the site remains secure. You will use this password the next time you log in to the GRFP Review Site.
Note: For security of applicant information, the site will time out if you are “inactive” for 60 minutes or more. “Active” means navigating from one page to another, refreshing a page, opening a PDF, and opening or saving a review. Using your browser back button, typing, and scrolling do not count as being “active".
