The U.S. Government will award the contract on a lowest price technically acceptable basis to responsible offerors submitting acceptable proposals, based on initial quotations without discussions unless companies are in the competitive range. Payment will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer within approximately 30 days after invoice submission, following completion of all services. Prospective quoters must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov, and be NDAA Section 889 compliant. No payments will be made for unauthorized work or changes not specified in the contract.

Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the irrigation system maintenance at the U.S. Consulate General Merida (USCG Merida).
If you would like to submit a quotation, please carefully review the requirements below.
The U.S. Government will award the contract on a lowest price technically acceptable basis to responsible offerors submitting a proposal. The award will be based on initial quotations without discussions; however, discussions may be held with companies in the competitive range if necessary.
Quotation Deadline:
Quotations are due by April 7, 2026 – 17:00 hrs CST. No quotations will be accepted after this time. Proposals must be submitted in writing and include all pricing, shipping, and delivery time information. Incomplete proposals will not be considered.
Submission Instructions:
Quotations must be submitted electronically to: meridaprocurement@state.gov Only email submissions will be accepted.
Specifications To be considered, your quotation must meet the following requirements:
Scope Carefully review the attached Statement of Work, which includes detailed specifications and a complete description of the required services.
Delivery Place of Performance:
U.S. Consulate General Merida Calle 60 Av. Prolongación Paseo Montejo #1, Lote VM 01D, Vía Montejo Mérida, Yucatán, 97204 Service must be completed no later than 60 days after the Purchase Order (PO) is awarded.
Payment Payment will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) after all services have been delivered and the invoice has been received. Please allow up to 30 days for processing after invoice submission.
Non-Payment for Unauthorized Work No payments will be made for unauthorized supplies or services or for any changes not specified in the contract. This includes any work performed voluntarily by the contractor or at the request of an unauthorized individual.
Period of performance The contractor must complete the service within 15 calendar days from the start date.
SAM Registration Prospective offerors must:
· Have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code
· Be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov
