About this file

This document is a vendor inquiry and submission guidance attachment from the State of Ohio for the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) regarding Cisco Server Hardware procurement under solicitation BWC260597. The solicitation seeks to purchase Cisco Server Hardware and Extended Service for the BWC, with a solicitation period running from February 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026. This solicitation event is designated for MBE Dealer participation on the RSC024735 contract only. All proposals must be submitted through OhioBuys, the State of Ohio's online purchasing platform, and no FAX or mail submissions will be accepted. Once submitted, proposals cannot be altered and must be clearly marked with the solicitation title and bid number. The state aims to respond to all inquiries within three business days of receipt, with inquiries submitted through the OhioBuys inquiry tab. Offerors will not receive personalized email responses but may view all inquiries and responses on the OhioBuys Public Solicitations page.

All proposal contents are subject to the Ohio Public Records Act unless otherwise exempted by law. Any material for which trade secret or confidentiality is claimed must be sealed in a separate envelope and marked as confidential with an explanation of the basis for confidentiality; failure to meet this requirement results in waiver of confidentiality claims. Proposals claiming the entire contents are confidential will result in disqualification. The state retains final determination authority regarding whether marked information qualifies for exemption from public disclosure under the Ohio Public Records Act. All submitted materials become the property of the State of Ohio and will be retained in accordance with Ohio public records and records retention laws.
