BACKGROUND AND DESIGN

Building 105 The existing rack supported mezzanine would be replaced with a solid decking mezzanine. Underneath a mobile aisle storage system would be utilized to consolidate storage, allowing for a work area and pilferable cage along the main aisle way. Two staircases and either a conveyor or elevator system for parts would be used to transport materials from the upper level. The two Titan brand Vertical Lift Modules would be removed and replaced with matching units. Clothing issue would receive a new processing counter as well as a mobile aisle system allowing both consolidation of materials and the ability to close, lock, and secure all assets. Palletized and bulk storage would receive a mixture of pallet, cantilever, and open laydown space while new sheet metal and pipe racking were moved to the interior wall of the building. In TMO, cantilever rack will be provided on the wall vacated by the old modular office. This will give flexibility to store a variety of materials in various sizes to include pre-built boxes, wood, or other palletized or long items. Rolling modular cabinets will be provided for toll storage to allow for the removal of the current tool storage cage. A workstation shall be provided to allow for work on small items/boxes and an open work area will be provided for oversized items.
