About this file
This document contains an example E-Verify company information page and associated tips for federal contractors to properly designate their organization status. The company information page shows fields for basic company details including physical location (7000 East Ave L-634, Livermore, CA 94550), NAICS code (541 - Professional, Scientific and Technical Services), and employee count (5,000-9,999 employees).
The accompanying tips outline a step-by-step process for contractors to update their E-Verify account to reflect Federal Contractor status and add the FAR-E agreement. The document notes a current system bug affecting legacy clients with 5-digit Company IDs during the recent system migration, requiring manual intervention from customer service to resolve. The guidance emphasizes that customer service agents can help resolve these technical issues, though they are also adapting to the new system.

E-Verify Tips
The E-Verify member should:
1. Log on to their E-Verify account
2. Choose Company
3. Choose edit Company profile
4. If in lower left, “Organization designation” lists Federal Contractor --then screenshot and done!
5. If it doesn’t show that designation, then choose (in lower left of screen) organization designation
-view/edit
6. Then choose (again lower left) Organization Designation -edit and add the FAR-E agreement.
If they get an error message which says “stop unexpected error..) they will have to call Customer service.
There is a bug in their system which, when they changed to the new system a few weeks again, did not allow the migration of some data for legacy clients- especially if the customer has a 5 digit Company ID (more long-term established companies like Kinetics). If the client asks, they will manually change it and adjust the account.
Perseverance and patience are the key words- the customer service agents are friendly and helpful, but they are also struggling a little with the new system.
